Bhandari Auditorium, Banthara Bhavan, Kurla East. From 2 pm onwardsSuvarna Karunada Sanatana Sanatana Cultural Cultural Forms like Janapada Sirisinchana, Gayana, Nartana, Chintana-Manthana, Samagra Sangama programmes ‘Cultural Janapada Siri Sinchana’ will be held Under the chairmanship of Dr. R.K. Shetty, President, Karnataka Janapada Parishat, Bengaluru Maharashtra Unit. Bantar Sangh Mumbai President Praveen B. Shetty, will launch the program.
Institutional award ceremony will be held at 6 pm under the chairmanship of Dr R K Shetty, president of the Maharashtra unit.
Former Vice-Chancellor of Karnataka Janapada Parishat, Bengaluru, Prof. H.C. Boralingaiah will be the chief guest and Veteran literature and novelist Mitra Venkatraj will be the guest of honour. Saint Agnes College Mangalore Professor Dr. Arun Ullal Dikkuchi will deliver the speech. Dramatist, folk theater director Karunakara K. Kapu will be honored with the ‘Janapad Vibhushan Award’, Also, there will be distribution of prizes to the talented artists.
Folk group dance competition by renowned troupes from Maharashtra in cultural extravaganza, Karnataka Janapada Parishat’s Maharashtra unit committee member group performs folk group singing sinchana, Short drama, Talamaddale, Anka Ayana, Siri Sinchans Folk Sinchan, Various music and dance entertainments will be held by the invited team under the sponsorship of Karnataka Folk Parishad Bangalore.
