Dead body of a young man found hanging in Vamadapada

Bantwala: The dead body of a man was found hanging in Vamadapadavu, Bantwala. The man who committed suicide was Padmanabha Samanta, a resident of Timaradda in Vamadapadavu. Padmanabha Samanta, who was associated with the Congress party, was serving as the vice-president of the district Congress backward classes.

A complaint was lodged at Punjalakatte police station two days ago against Padmanabha Samanta for allegedly duping a youth of Rs 1.50 lakh on the pretext of getting him a government job. In this regard, the deceased youth Padmanabha Samanta had told the police that he would attend the inquiry. But the he had not appeared at the police station for the last three days and he did not respond to phone calls.

The body of the man, who had gone missing was found in a decomposed state in a hill next to the house. The police reached the spot and conducted an investigation. A case of unnatural death has been registered and investigation is on. According to the police, the man committed suicide, but the truth needs to be known after the post-mortem examination.

Former minister B Ramanath Rai, Bantwal block Congress president Baby Kunder Padmanabha visited to his house and consoled the family.

Bengaluru: The Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, D.K. Shivakumar, claimed on March 30 that the BJP government at the Centre is tormenting the opposition leaders out of the fear of defeat in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Speaking to reporters here, the state Congress chief said, “The case against me is closed, yet the Income Tax Department sent me a notice last night. There are many BJP leaders and central ministers from Karnataka who are facing charges, but no investigation has been ordered nor notices have been served against them. The BJP is targeting only the opposition leaders.”

Commenting on the I-T Department freezing Congress’ bank accounts, Shivakumar said, “The BJP is targeting the opposition parties, especially the Congress and the Left, as it knows that it is going to lose the elections. We are a democracy, yet the BJP is hounding the opposition parties through I-T officials. But nothing is permanent in politics. The BJP is resorting to such actions as it knows that the INDIA bloc will come to power after the elections.”

Bengaluru: Bellippadi Gunaranjan Shetty, president of Karnataka State Wrestling Association Committee has been elected as the President of the All India Beach Wrestling Committee. At the special general body meeting of the committee held in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, he was appointed as the chairman of the All India Beach Wrestling Committee.

B. Gunaranjan Shetty is the son of Dakshina Kannada District’s Nadumogaru Guttu Vittal Shetty and Bellipadi Uramaluguttu Prafulla V.Shetty. He is the brother of Dr.Sai Ramesh Shetty and famous South Indian actress Anushka Shetty. He Belongs to Bellipadi family of Puttur town.

B.Gunaranjan Shetty is a businessman in Bangalore, he is also the founder president of Sri Mahalingeshwara Seva Trust Bangalore, I CARE Brigade, I CARE Foundation, Jayakarnataka Janapara Vedike.

He is the Vice president of Bengaluru Kambala namma Kambala Committee and There is no doubt that he is the reason for the success of Bangalore Kambala.

After he became the president of Karnataka State Wrestling Association Committee he is doing good work in the Committee and For youth who are interested in sports, providing them Training and basic facilities. By doing this, he became the main reason for the victory of the Karnataka Wrestling team.
