Belgaum: BJP leader M K Pranesh has been elected as the deputy speaker of the state Vidhana Parishad.

He polled 39 votes, with 26 votes against him.
The CM Basavaraj Bommai conveyed his wishes to the new deputy speaker M K Pranesh.
