Vitla: Adyanadka police arrested three of the four accused who stole crores worth of cash and gold jewelery by sneaking into a window of the Karnataka Bank on March 11.

Khalandar, Rafeeq from Kasargod and Dayananda from Bayaru are said to be the main suspects of the theft. The police arrested these accused on February 28 and made their arrests official on March 10.
The thieves, who arrived in a Brezza car, broke the window pane of the bank and open the locker door with a gas cutter and cash and jewelery were stolen from the locker. During interrogation, the thieves revealed that they had hidden a portion of it in a playground in an isolated area near Sanjankila at the foot of Posadi Gumpe hill in Bayar.
Investigation has revealed that the person who worked as a welder for some years helped to break the locker and they are accused in various cases in Kasargod.
