Yakshagana senior artiste M L Samaga gets the Patla award-2023

Awards ceremony on May 28th at Adyar Garden, ” Patla Sambrama “

Mangalore: The sixth annual program Yakshadruma Patla Sambrama 2023 organised by the Patla foundation will be held on May 28th.

The 2923 Patla award will be given to Yakshagana artist, Talamaddala translater Sri M L Samaga said founder president of Patla foundation Satish Shetty.

Speaking at a press conference he said that the Patla Sambrama 2023 will be presided by the honorary President of the trust Kanyana Sadashiv Shetty. The program will include rendering aid to Yakshagana artists, insurance schemes, scholarship to merited children of artists, blood donation camps and such other social service schemes.

Kanyana Sadashiv Shetty said that the foundation was a guiding force to artists and a helping hand to them in times of need

Ikala Harish Shetty president of the global Bunts association appreciated the work done by Patla foundation and wished for its all time service for the well being of the artistes.
