Andra Pradesh – Tirupati temple sanctum to be closed for about 8 months
Hyderabad: The Tirupathi temple at Tirumala hills in Andhra Pradesh, the sanctum of which is likely to be closed for 6-8 months.
Sources say the gold covering on top of the sanctum is to be refurbished. So the idol of the lord will be placed a little away from its original place. The work of the gold replating is likely to start from February.
