The President Droupadi Murmu inaugurates the ” Elephant festival”
Guwahati : The president Droupadi Murmu Inaugurated the ” Gaj Mahotsav” on Friday, April 6 th at Kaziranga national park in Assam.
Later she took a jeep Safari and later held a meeting where she spoke on Nature and humanity , human animal conflict and the relationship between Nature and culture and tradition of place.
The conservation of the Asian elephant is of prime importance and it is our duty to help protect the species she said .
