Udupi, May 23: The District Level World Tuberculosis Day will be held on Tuesday, May 24th at 10:30 am under the auspices of the Department of Health and Family Welfare, District Office of the Tuberculosis Controller, Udupi. The SMS will be held in the college hall.

The event will be inaugurated by Basavaraja Bommai, Minister of State for Home Affairs and Minister in charge of the Udupi District. Raghupati will preside over the program, the department said in a statement.

Mangalore: The janajaagriti program will be held simultaneously in 228 Gram Panchayats and 279 Wards in Dakshina Kannada district on Tuesday, from 10 am to 12 pm, in the wake of the second wave of Kovid-19 in Dakshina Kannada district. “Rajendra said at a news conference.

The main objective of this program is to alert the public about Kovid-19’s precautionary measures throughout the district, wearing a mask on the masses, and maintaining physical distance during meeting ceremonies, as well as informing the district about getting a covid control vaccine.

Applicants should contact the food department offices directly, without allowing the public to make any kind of intermediary they believe to be ration cards.

If mediators complain about ration cards, a criminal case will be filed against them. Any questions about ration cards can be resolved at the local Food Branch and service availability.

Mangalore, May 23: The Fisheries Department has been re-granted the opportunity to obtain a letter of opportunity for the construction of mechanized fishing boats in the district.

Applicants who have applied by November 21, 2016 must submit the construction process information in this regard, along with the relevant legislature’s recommendation letter and prescribed fees and required documentation.

Applicants who have not already obtained a feasibility letter and are still unable to build a boat have been given the opportunity to extend the period of possibility by government order. Applicants must submit required documents by April 10 of the current line.

Uppinangadi, March 23: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (UPI) last month ranked Uppinangadi Muhammad Tabish Hassan ranked 10th nationally.

Tabish Hasan won the Best Essay Presentation Award at the CA Students International Conference in Pune in December 2019. He represented India as a student panelist at the International CA Students Conference in Colombo, Sri Lanka in February 2020.

He is the son of K. Muhammad Iqbal and Tasleema Iqbal of Uppinangadi.
