Karnataka is number one in tiger population
Karnataka ranks number one in India in Tiger population said sources.
According to the report of tiger censes conducted in April 2022; Karnataka that had ranked number two,after Madya Pradesh, would have reached number one by now.
A total of 2967 tigers were recorded from different tiger reserves across the country.
Madya Pradesh had 526 tigers and Karnataka 524 tigers according to the last censes.
