Karkala: Very heavy rains in parts of Karkala has ressulted in landslides andd flooding in parts of Naravi town.
Swarna river has flooded and is overflowing with muddy water.
Landslides in the Western ghats and cloud burst in parts of this area may have resulted in this situation said locals.Water was gushing down from Kudremukh Forest areas into Naravi, Nuralabettu and Kultoor forest areas.
Sudden flooding in the Suvarna river near the Sri Suryanarayana temple has filled the roads near here with water.
