Demonstration against the construction of a traffic island.
Mangalore: Under the smart City scheme a place was identified around Hamilton circle for a traffic island.Stones were set up around the place near the clock tower at Hamilton circle on an experimental basis.
” This has caused unnecessary problem in the smooth sailing of the traffic. We will organise a public protest if the stones laid on the road is not removed” said B.K.Imtiaz president of the district unit of DYFI.
He was speaking at a demonstration in this connection on Thursday at Hamilton circle.
