ಈ ಬೆಗೆಟ್ ಸುದ್ದಿಗೋಷ್ಠಿಡ್ ಪಾತೆರ್ದಿನ ಆರ್, ಕಿಂಞಣ್ಣ ರೈ ಮೇರ್ ಬಂಟ ಸಮುದಾಯ ದ ಪೆರ್ಮೆಯಾದಿತ್ತ್ ದ್, ಆರ್ ಇಡೀ ತುಳುನಾಡ್ ದ ಪ್ರತೀಕ ಆತೆರ್. ಏಕೀಕರಣ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿನ್ ಪಡೆತ್ತೆರ್. ಅಂಚಿಪ್ಪುನಗ ಆರ್ನ ಪುದರ್ ನ್ ಏಳನೇ ಕ್ಲಾಸ್ ದ ಪಾಠ ಪುಸ್ತಕೊರ್ದು ದೆಪ್ಪುನ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ದಾದ ಇತ್ತ್ಂಡ್ ಪಂದ್ ಕೇಂಡೆರ್. ಅವ್ವೆ ಅತ್ತಂದೆ ಕುಡ್ಲದ ಎ.ಬಿ.ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ದ ಪುದರ್ ನ್ ಲ ಬದಲ್ ಮಲ್ಪುನ ವಿಷಯ ತೆರಿದ್ ಬೈದ್oಡ್. ಈ ವಿಚಾರೊಡ್ಲ ಬಂಟ ಸಮಾಜಗ್ ಅವಮಾನ ಆತ್ಂಡ್ ಪಂದ್ ಪಂಡೆರ್.

Removal of Kayyara Kinyanna Rai’s name in text books is demeaning to the Bunt community itself–Ajith Kumar Rai
Mangalore: Poet Kayyara Kinyanna Rai’s name which had been mentioned in the seven class social science text books in the topic Karnataka integration and border dispute has now been deleted which is as good as humiliating the bunt community said president of the Bunt alais Nadavara Sangha Ajith Kumar Rai.
Speaking at a press meet that Kinyanna Rai was a senior respected member of the community and represented Tulunadu.He had also won the integration award for his relentless services for the consolidation of Tulunadu.So it is unnecessary to remove his name from the text books.
Moreover the are also rumours that the name of A B Shetty circle will be changed.These instances have hurt the sentiments of the bunt community he said.
He added that in the above mentioned lessons ; now Rai’s name has been taken out and Manjeshwar Govind Pai’s name has been put .Though they had no issues with the inclusion of the name, Rai’s name should not have been excluded.
He informed that the community will not take things lightly if the name was not included again ; and warned of an agitation if things were not set right. A B Shetty was a freedom fighter and had also rendered services as a political personality.So the changing of his name from the circle has been a thing of concern to the community he said
A B Shetty’s granddaughter Lakshmi S Shetty also attended the meet and spoke on the topic.
