Belliappa from Karnataka gets selected for Commonwealth and Asian games.

Bangalore : Six elite runners including Belliappa from Karnataka attained qualifying marks to qualify for the upcoming Asian Games and Commonwealth games in New Delhi on Sunday at the prestigious Ageas Federal Life Insurance Delhi Marathon.

Nitendra Singh timed 2.16.05 hours and took lead , Anish Tapamagar timed 2.16.41 hours and Anil Kumar Singh clocked 2.16.47 hours and took the second and third place.

Asish Kumar, Belliappa and Kalidas Laxman who went under the qualifying timings to get selected.
