Chikamagalur: Appi K Shetty (81), wife of the late Dr Krishna K Shetty, resident of Kambihalli, Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka, passed away at Holy Cross hospital, Chikkamagaluru on Monday, August 30.She had donated funds for educational and religious sectors and contributed for the growth of the society.

She has left behind three sons including Dr R K Shetty who is the economic scholar, Karnataka Rajyotsava awardee, managing director of Essar Financial services private limited, honorary chief secretary of Bunts Sangha Mumbai, president of Karnataka Janapada Maharashtra parishad, member of Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangha Maharashtra advisory committee, friends and relatives.

Aikala harish shetty president buntara sangha,K. Chandrahasa shetty and all the Members of andheri bandra ravi shetty and other leaders are likely to take part in the last rites.
