Ullala : A large sea porpoise was found on the shore of Mogaveerappatnam on Thursday.

Initially thought to be a whale, some senior fishermen later identified it as a seaweed. The locals have dumped into the sea for the purpose of bringing the crane to a halt of over a ton of weight. Even before the arrival of the fishermen from Mangalore Fisheries College, the fish was in the sea. Fishermen say it may have been dead for a couple of days because of the rot.
