ಈ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ 449.2 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಕರ್ಚಿಡ್ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಆತ್ಂಡ್. 3.2 ಕಿ.ಮೀ ರನ್ ವೇ ಉಂಡು. ಎಟಿಆರ್ ಸೇರಿನಂಚನೆ ಮಾತ ರೀತಿದ ಇಮಾನಲು ಲ್ಯಾಂಡಿಂಗ್ ಆವರೆ ಉಂಡು. 4320 ಚದರಡಿ ವಿಸ್ತೀರ್ಣದ ಸುಸಜ್ಜಿತ ಪ್ಯಾಸೆಂಜರ್ ಟರ್ಮಿನಲ್ ಬೊಕ್ಕ ಇಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಸುತ್ತ 15,900 ಮೀಟರ್ ಉದ್ದದ ಕಾಂಪೌಂಡ್ ಉಂಡು. ಒಟ್ಟು 775 ಎಕರೆ ವಿಸ್ತೀರ್ಣಡ್ ರೂ.449.22 ಕೋಟಿ ವೆಚ್ಚಡ್ ಎಟಿಆರ್ 72 ರ್ದ್ ಏರ್ ಬಸ್ 320 ಮುಟ್ಟ ಮಾತ ರೀತಿದ ಇಮಾನಲು ಪಗೆಲ್-ರಾತ್ರೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಗ್ ಅನುಕೂಲ ಆಪುಲೆಕ್ಕ 3.2 ಕಿ.ಮೀ ರನ್ ವೇ ಬೊಕ್ಕ 4320 ಚದರ ಅಡಿ ವಿಸ್ತೀರ್ಣದ ಸುಸಜ್ಜಿತ ಪ್ಯಾಸೆಂಜರ್ ಟರ್ಮಿನಲ್, ಏರ್ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕಿಂಗ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಲೆನ್ ಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾನ ಮಲ್ತಿನ ಇಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ಉಂದಾತ್ಂಡ್.
PM Narendra Modi inaugurates Shimoga Airport today
The PM Narendra Modii inaugurated the new Airport at Shimoga today.The PM who is on a visit to the state, landed at the new airport on his army aircraft from Delhi . He inspected the new Airport and then layed foundation and inaugurated multiple projects in the district.
The airport has been built at a cost of 449.2 crores with a runway of 3.2 kilometres built on a area of 775 acres of land.
This airport is one built on Modi’s vision of providing air connectivity to smaller cities round the country.
