The 75th independence day celebrations at Mangalore was held at Nehru Maidan and the Minister for Kannada and cultural affairs and the district in charge minister Sunil Kumar hoisted the national flag.
MLA Vedavyasa Kamath, Bharat Shetty, Mayor Premananda Shetty, DC Rajandra KV, CEO of district Panchayat Dr Kumar, Rishikesh Bhagwan district police chief officer and many other government representatives and students participated.
