Vitla: 313 bags of Ration rice taken away!!
Vitla: The ration rice given in a subsidies rate to the needy, was being illegally transported, which was stopped and confiscated by the police at N C Road, Bollantur.
The driver of the vehicle, Chandrashekhar was questioned and it was known that one Abbubakar had taken 232 bags of rice from Fair price shop number -68 ; and Hamid Narsha had taken 78 bags of rice from Fair price shop number -105.
A case has been registered in the names of the owner of the fair price shop , the driver of the vehicle and the persons for whom the rice was being transported.
