ಜನವರಿ 25 ಕ್ಕ್ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ 1.30 ಕ್ ಮಲವಂತಿಗೆ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಬಂಗಾರಪಲ್ಕೆ ಬಡಮನೆ ಅಬ್ಬಿ ಜಲಪಾತ ವೀಕ್ಷಣೆಗ್ ಪೋತಿನ ಪೊರ್ತುಡು ಗುಡ್ಡೆ ಜರಿದ್ ಸನತ್ ಮಣ್ಣ್ ದ ಅಡಿಟ್ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾದಿತ್ತೆರ್ , ಈ ಪೊರ್ತುಡು ಒರಿನಕುಲು ಒಂಚೂರು ಅಂತರಡ್ ಪಾರಾದಿತ್ತೆರ್.
ಸನತ್ ನ ಪತ್ತೆಗಾದ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ಕಂದಾಯ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ಕೈತಲ್ ದ ಗ್ರಾ.ಪಂ, ಎನ್‌ಡಿಆರ್‌ಎಫ್ ತಂಡ ಸತತ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಲ್ತಿತ್ತೆರ್ . ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶಡ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡಪಾಯರೇ ಬೋಡಾಯಿನ ಯಂತ್ರಲೆನ್ ಉಪಯೋಗ ಮಲ್ಪರೆ ಸರಿಯಾಯಿನ ವಾತಾವರಣ ಇಜ್ಜಂದಿನ ಕಾರಣ ಮಸ್ತ್ ದಿನ ಪುನ ತಿಕ್ಕದ್ ಇತ್ತ್ಜಿ.

On January 25, at around 1.30 pm, the villagers of Bangarapalke village of Malavandi went to the Abbie Falls view and collapsed.
Subsequently, the District Police Department, the Fire Department, the Revenue Department, the local GRP and the NDRF team made a concerted effort to locate the young man. The dead bodies were not found for many years as there was no suitable environment to use the machinery needed to operate the area.
