Mangalore:Writer, Artist, sportsman and writer M Karunakar Shetty has been elected as Chief secretary of Akila Baratha Tulu Okkutha.

As an employee with Vijaya Bank he has served in various places all over India and has also actively participated in various associations from the past 38 years for the development and betterment of Tulu language and culture.
He is also serving as co editor of Times of Kudla Tulu newspaper and media representative of International Bunts welfare trust amongst many other other leading roles in various organisations.
