Girls in schools and colleges to get leave during their monthly periods- Announcement by Kerala government

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has decided to grant leave to girls studying in schools and colleges during their monthly periods.

The education minister of Kerala R Bindu has also announced 60 days leave to lady students above 18 years of age maternity leave.

They can appear for exams with 73% attendance.With leave during monthly periods,the students can appear for exams with 73% attendance. 75% compulsory attendance was the norm till now.
