Regional languages will be given special priority due to the new education policy being implemented by the Center. Education minister Suresh Kumar said that this would also bring justice to the guest teachers who teach the Tulu language.Dayananda G., President of Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Akademi. The minister responded when Kattalsar met with the Education Minister in Bangalore and informed him about the problem of guest teachers. He said that within the next 15 days the education policy would get a clear picture of the issue and then the issue of guest teachers would be addressed.
On this occasion, the president of the academy expressed his support for the voice that Tulu language should be officially state language.
