Mamatha Mam TOK: Tulu script writing tutorial at Konchadi Nagakannika Durgaparameshwari temple:
Tulu Sahitya akademi and Jai Tulu Nadu (R) came together to arrange a tutorial class at Konchadi Nagakannika Durgaparameshwari temple which was inaugurated on 24 th of this month.
Well known Tulu film and drama artist ; said to be the Pride of Tulunadu Arvind Bolar inaugurated the program. Jai Tulunadu association president Sudarshan Suratkal conveyed best wishes to the Tulu learners. Taksheel Devadiga who is a world record holder in Tulu language said that this ancient language must get official status.Former president of Jai Tulunadu Ashwath Tuluva started the classes by writing the Tulu script.
Mangalore corporater Ranjani Kotian, Shesappa Devadiga, the script teachers Geeta,Lakshmish,Chirashree were present on the occasion.
The classes will continue for four weeks every Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m at the temple premises.
