New Delhi: 14 people including Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Former Congress president Sonia Gandhi took oath as Rajya Sabha members.
Former Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw were among the 14 who took oath as members of the Rajya Sabha on April 4.
Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar administered the oath to them at the new Parliament House.
Congress’ Sonia Gandhi, Ajay Maken, BJP’s Ashwini Vaishnav, RPN Singh, Samik Bhattacharya, YSRP’s Gola Babu Rao, Medha Raghunath Reddy, Subbareddy and others took oath.
BJP leader Piyush Goyal and Opposition party in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjuna Kharge were present at this time.
