Mangalore: The price of chicken meat and eggs are on a downward trend from the last ten days at Mangalore and Udupi district.

Meat eaters are a happy lot as the the price of broiler chicken was 240/kg; now it has come down to 155/kg.The price of eggs has come down by a rupee and is 5.50 a peice.
