ಅಲ್ಪ ಓಲು ತೂoಡಲ ಕಜವು ದ ರಾಶಿ. ಕಜವು ಮಾತ ಕಡೆಟ್ಟ್ ಇಪ್ಪುನ ಇಚಾರನೆ. ಆಂಡ ಆಯಿತ್ತ ನಡುಟ್ಟ್ ಪಾರ್ಕಿಂಗ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಇಪ್ಪುನವ್ ಒಲಾಂಡಲ ತೂತರೇ…! ಅವ್ವೆ ಜಾಗೆಡ್ ಉಂತಾವುನ ಮಸ್ತ್ ಗಾಡಿಲು. ಗಾಡಿಲು ಉಂತಾವುನ ಮಾತ್ರ ಅತ್ತ್ ಅಯಿಟ್ಟ್ ಪಾರ್ಕಿಂಗ್ ದ ಕಾಸ್ ಲ ದೆತೊನ್ವೆರ್.

ಅಂದ್ ಇಂಚಿನ ದೃಶ್ಯೊಲು ಕೆಲವು ದಿನೊರ್ದಿಂಚಿ ತೋಜಿದ್ ಬರೊಂದುಂಡು ಕುಡ್ಲ ಪನ್ಪಿನ ಸ್ಪಾರ್ಟ್ ಸಿಟಿಟ್ಟ್. ಪನಿಯರೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸ್ಪಾರ್ಟ್ ಸಿಟಿ. ಆಂಡ ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಬರಿಟ್ಟೆ ಕಜವು ದ ರಾಶಿ ತೋಜುಂಡು. ಕುಡ್ಲ ಪೇಂಟೆದ ಹಂಪನಕಟ್ಟೆ ಆತೆ ಅತ್ತಾಂದೆ ಬೇತೆ ಬೇತೆ ಜಾಗೆಡ್ ಕಜವು ರಾಸಿ ಬೂರ್ದುಂಡು . ಆತೆ ಅತ್ತಂದೆ ಆ ಜಾಗೆಡ್ ಮಸ್ತ್ ಗಾಡಿಲು ಉತ್ತುಂಡು.

Heaps of garbage in Mangalore city ! ! Paid Parking in Hampankatta amidst the garage!!

Piles of garbage on the road side is a common feature in all Indian towns. But here we have a garbage filled paid Parking lot that also in the heart of the city!!

Lately piles of garbage is seen all over the town.That is when plans are afoot to make Mangalore a Smart City !!
Vehicles are parked everywhere right in the middle of heaps of garbage bags.

From the last one month money is collected from the vehicle owners as parking fee by the Mangalore corporation.Rupees ten is collected for parking irrespective of how long the vehicles are parked.

The amount may be nominal but no infrastructure is provided for the convenience of the public.There in no proper drainage around the place or a footpath for pedestrians.Heaps of garbage is dumped around here but no facilities for its disposal.So the question is if these things are not set right,one shudders to think of what holds in the future!!
