Locals at Sashitlu report illegal sand transport.
Mulki.Locals at Sashitlu in Haleangadi grama panchayat limits reported to the mining and geological department illegal transport of sand by the developers of a multistoreyed building at the sea shore.
The building is reportedly being built by 15 doctors from a well known hospital in Mangalore.
The locals alleged that the sand brought to build the structure was kept aside and sand from the sea shore was transported for use . The locals who noticed this complained to the concerned authorities.
