“Gujjarakera” ready for inaugration: Restoration project cost 3.70 crore.
Mangalore: November 1st: Gujjarakera near Jeppu market was one day a polluted ,stinky water body ; a breeding place for mosquitoes spreaing diseases like malaria and dengue.Now it has been cleaned and restored under the Mangalore Smart City project at a cost of 3.70 crore and will be inaugurated on November 2nd.
The steps leading to the lake has been remade with railings all around for the safety of people visiting the place . Lighting arrangements and wide roads have been laid around ; with a play area for children.
