Bangalore: Mysore University, which celebrated its first university and the 100th anniversary, has been honored with a doctorate by the Chief Electoral Officer of Karnataka, Sanjeev Kumar. Senior IAS officer 58-year-old Sanjeev Kumar is currently serving as Chief Election Officer of Karnataka. He presented the theme ‘MGNREGA, Rights, Processes and Sustainable Livelihood: A Critical Study in Karnataka’ under the guidance of Dr. Srijay Devaraj Uras of the Department of Development Studies at the University of Mysore. Doctorate degree was made at the Mysore University’s hundredth convocation held yesterday.
