A teacher dies of an heart attack at work

Anand G Gangadhar (44) was an art teacher at a private school in Udupi. He complained of chest pain at noon while still at school. He was shifted to Manipal hospital but was declared brought dead.

Student dies in an accident at Byndoor:

Udupi: In a collusion of a lorry and bike at Hosangadi Kerekatte in Byndoor taluk; a student died on the spot and one more person was seriously injuried.

The deceased has been identified as Srujan Nagaraj Naik . Divakar Naik was the rider who was injured. A case has been registered at Amasaybail police station limits.

Earthquake in many places at Sullia:

Puttur: Tremors were experienced at many places in Sullia taluk of DK district.

This morning at about 9 12 a.m Tremors were experienced by people around Sullia, Sampaje, Markanja, Allatty , Todikana for about three to four seconds.A strange sound was also noticed . Vessels rolling over was also reported.

Earth Tremors were experienced in Kodagu and Hassan districts on the 23rd.The commissioner of Karnataka state Natural calamities supervision centre had also predicted about the same.

Karkala: A bike crashes into a divider

Karkala: A bike crashes into a divider injuring the driver ; at Bola.The driver of the bike Guruprasad was injured.

Guruprasad was travelling from Belman towards Kaydinjay when he lost control and ran over the divider.He was seriously injuried and shifted to Welock hospital in Mangalore.
A case was registered in Karkala rural police station.

Nelyadi: Accident in the national highway; traffic block for more than a hour

Nelyadi: In an accident of three vehicles at NH -75, near Bajatur village there was a traffic
jam for more than an hour.

There was a crash between a KSRTC Airavat bus, mini tanker and a lorry . Police personal from Ubhar came over to clear the traffic. All the three vehicles were badly damaged.The KSRTC Airavat bus was on its way to Mangalore from Bangalore.The lorry was plying from the opposite direction when the accident happened at Bedrodi turn.One person in the bus was injured,the rest are all safe.

ತೀರ್ ಪೋಯಿನರೆನ್ ಕೇಶವ (47) ಪಂದ್ ಗುರ್ತಿಸಾದೆರ್. ಮೆರ್ ಕುತ್ತೆತ್ತೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಎಂ.ಆರ್.ಪಿ.ಎಲ್ ವರ್ಕ್ ಶಾಪ್ ಡ್ ಬೇಲೆ ಮಲ್ತೊಂದಿತ್ತೆರ್. ಎಂ.ಆರ್.ಪಿ.ಎಲ್ ಗ್ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಪಟ್ಟಿನ ಟ್ರೇಲರ್ ಡ್ ಇತ್ತಿನ ಕೌ೦ಟರ್ ವೇಟ್ ನ್ ಕ್ರೇನ್ ಮುಖೇನ ಆನ್ ಲೋಡ್ ಮಲ್ಪುನಗ ಕೌ೦ಟರ್ ವೇಟ್ ತಾಗುದ್ ಈ ಘಟನೆ ನಡತ್ ದ್೦ಡ್. ಈ ಬಗೆಟ್ಟ್ ಸುರತ್ಕಲ್ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಡ್ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾತ್೦ಡ್.

A man dies while unloading from a crane after being hit by counter weight

Suratkal, June 24; A man dies on the way to hospital after being hit by counter weight while unloading from a crane.The crane was being used for goods related to MRPL.

The person killed has been identified as Keshy(47) from Kutatoor village and was working in the work shop of MRPL.He was unloading a counter weight from a trailer for MRPL ; when the counter weight hit him.A case in this regard was registered at Suratkal police station limits.
