Udupi, Dec 8: Senior scholar, literature and theater professor who died here on Monday. Udyavar Madhavacharya was presented with the Shraddhanjali by the Rashtriya Govinda Pai Research Center, Yakshagana Center, Mahe and Regional Folk Studies Center.

Coordinator of these centers, Prof. He condoles the death of Madhavacharya for Varadesh Hiregam. Udayavar Madhavacharya is a unique personality in the cultural world. He was an acquaintance of modernity and had experimented with the roots of heritage. Writing from his unique perspective on literature, he said he was constantly exploring and experimenting with the world of theater and dance.
