Awards and honors are a pleasure to have when achieved. But the small tribute and honor that the sadhaka receives in his home town is a great congratulation and inspirational, said president of the Tulu Sahitya Akademi Dayanand kattalsar. He was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the trilingual poet Noozibaltila Dilip Vedik’s congratulatory speech and book launch on behalf of the villagers of Nojibaltila and Renjiladi on Saturday.
No matter how big a ceremony honors the sadhaka, if he is not congratulated on his hometown, he will be lacking.
