Gurbi Kannada film release on December 24th
World premiere of Kannada art movie Gurbi will be on December 24 th .The film is directed by the state award winning director Krishnappa Uppoor.
Speaking at a press meet today he said that the movie has come out well depicting the story of the life of a girl growing up in a rural society
belonging to a community that is exploited and sidelined.
The picturesque locations of Udupi and Chickmangalore has added to the authenticity of the movie.Theatre artist Jeevan Ram Sullia said that the artocities meted by the upper castes on an innocent girl and how she faces the situation forms the back drop of the story .
Noted theatre artiste Keerthi Raj, Mandya Ramesh and many new faces have acted in the movie .
Ashwitha, Revathi Nadigar and Chandan Kumar who are part of the cast also took part in the press meet.
