Mangalore: Lions Club International has decided to open its 100th branch, including select members of The Voice of Blood Donors, which is recognized as a social service organization.
Lions Club Mangalore Centurion Club will now be inaugurated with a select 23 members of The Voice of Blood Donors to further strengthen the service of The Voice of Blood Donors, Lions Club Governor Dr Geeta Prakash said at a news conference on Wednesday.
Unveiling the club’s logo at the concert, he said the Lions Club Mangalore Century was formed as the 100th unit of the Lions Club, including its select members, under the special concept of recognizing various social services including blood donation.
