Mangalore: A 75-year-old disciple of Harinarayana Bipadittayaya and Lilavati Bipadittayya, who have dedicated their lives to Yakshagana, have decided to honor him with their fans.
It is scheduled to host the ‘Sri Harilila-75 Yakshabhinandanam, Shishyabhivandanam, Yakshanadotasavam’ event on November 7 at the Moodubidire Aalangar Mahalingeshwara Mahaganapati Temple.
A full day performance, traditional music songs, Sabha program, congratulations to the guru couple, release of a congratulatory book, autobiographical release of Lilavathi Bipadittayara, a performance of the heritage and a bipadittaya song by DG. Annual ‘Yakshna Puraskaram’ awarding ceremony for senior artist will be held by Yaksha Foundation.
