Suratkal Bantara Sangha Sports meet.
World Bunts federation encourages sports- Aikala Harish Shetty.
Suratkal: Under the auspices of the the DK district Rajotsava award winning Bantara Sangha (R) Suratkal and the World Bunts federation had organised a sports meet at Govind das college Suratkal.
The president of World Bunts federation Aikala Harish Shetty hoisted the flag and inaugurated the sports meet.
The World Bunts federation along with social service , gives great importance to sports and encourages sports in rural areas. It also renders monetary aid to sports men in rural areas said Aikala Harish Shetty.
Sudhakar Punja president of Suratkal Bhunts association who presided over the program said that the association is very active in various fields like sports, education, agriculture and other cultural activities. Women and youth are an integral part of the association.The World Bunts federation and Bunts Matru Sangha has always rendered support to all activities of the Sangha.
Mayor Premananda Shetty was the guest of honour at the program.
Aikala Harish Shetty, Mayor Premananda Shetty and Rohit Kumar Kateel were honoured on the occasion.
Ten national sports persons were honoured on the occasion.
