“Saptapadi” mass marriage ceremony in Kukke Subramanya on August 25th
Kukke Subramanya temple that comes under the endowment waks department; has arranged a simple mass marriage ceremony on August 25th. Persons interested in getting married here must contact the temple office.
It has been arranged to encourage simple marriage and the groom will get a incentive amount of five thousand rupees and the bride will get 10,000 rupees from the temple. The bride will also get traditional gold ” tali” and some gold totalling to 40,000 rupees from the temple.The bride, groom and relatives will be provided necessary arrangements and food facilities from the temple.Under the revenue department ” Adarsha Vivaha Yojana” the groom is entitled to a fixed deposit of 10,000 rupees and those couple belonging to backward castes will get 50,000 rupees from the social welfare department.
