Udupi, March 24 :he number of infected people in the district on Tuesday fell to 28 after more than 100 cases of Kovid positives in two districts. 43 people were cured during the day and a total of 424 were infected, said Dr Sudhir Chandra Sooda, District Health and Family Welfare Officer.
Of the 28 people who came to Positive today, 23 are from Udupi Taluk, of whom 9 are MIT students. Covid has already tested around 3000 students at the MIT campus, out of which 381 have been positive, Dr Sooda said.
The infection was detected today in a student of a residential school in Kurukkalu Gram Panjerjee, a village where 10 students came out positive.
