Engineering lessons in Kannada released

An aim to create an universal lessons for all

Bangalore: The All India council for technical education board has released technical education lessons in nine languages including Kannada.It is aimed at helping students from regional language medium to have an equal chance in technical education said Prof Anil D Sahasrabuddhi president of AICTE.

The NEP ( National education policy) moots for technical education in local language and the chancellors of all technical Universities, SEP directors and experts from the National Academy of engineering education came together and released lessons in technical education in nine regional languages.

Speaking at the meeting prof Sahasrabuddhi said that it is not true that technical education can be had only in English language. Persons with a regional language background can also excel in technical education and these lessons are intended to help students to have equal opportunities in education.

Five labourers dead when a building under construction falls down

Delhi: A building in Delhi’s Alipur area a building under construction collapsed and five labourers have been reported dead About 20-25 labourers were working and a few are still trapped under the debris.

Rescue work to bring out those trapped is underway and 9 have been rescued.Injured have been admitted to hospital.

The IOCL company has started Tatkal services for LPG consumers .Now customers can get their lpg cylinders within two hours of booking.It can be booked through indian oil website or Indian oil own application.This service is now available in Hyderabad and will soon be available in other places too.

Kidney transported in zeo traffic from Dharwad to Belgaum

Just recently a heart was transported from SDM hospital Dharwad to KLE hospital Belgaum through green corridor and transplanted to a Muslim youth ; now another organ has been transported through zero traffic to Belgaum.

A kidney was transported in zero traffic to Belgaum from SDM hospital Dharwad. Belgaum district police officer Sanjeev Patil had personally made arrangements for zero traffic.

Mangalore: Many passenges travelling by Indigo flights were amused to see ‘cute’ charges in their tickets charges breakup.
They took to social media to share their thoughts.

A traveller Shantanu quipped ‘ I know I am getting cuter with age.But why am I charged by Indigo for this?’

Another person tweeted ‘ hey airline what does this charge mean?’ .
Another clarified ” CUTE” is Common User terminal equipment charge.It is levied for use of metal detector, escalator and other commen equipment at airports .This charge differs from airport to airport.
