Kota Srinivasa Pujari, the BJP candidate for the Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency, filed his nomination papers on Wednesday.
Udupi MLA Yashpal Suvarna, Kapu MLA Gurme Suresh Shetty, BJP leader C.T. Ravi, JD(S) leader S.L.Bhoje Gowda were present.

Mysore-Kodagu Lok Sabha Constituency BJP candidate Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraj Wodeyar along with his party leaders and supporters filed his nomination papers on Wednesday.
The procession started in front of the fort Anjaneyaswamy temple in front of the palace. From there, the procession proceeded through Nazarabad to the new district collector’s office in Siddhartha Nagar.
JDS Legislature Party leader H.D. Kumaraswamy, Core Committee President GT Deve Gowda, BJP State Unit President B.Y. Vijayendra, Constituency Election Officer Dr.C. N. Ashwathtanarayan, MP Pratap Singh, MLA T.S. Srivatsa, JDS MLA G.D Harish Gowda, former MLA K. G. Bopaiah supported him.
Traffic jams were witnessed on major roads in the city including K.R.Circle, Hardinje Circle and Sayyaji Rao Road in the wake of the procession.
