“Happy to have got the opportunity to serve the nation” – Veerendra Heggade on being nominated to the Rajya Sabha

Mangalore: On giving a statement to the press on his nomination to the Rajya Sabha Dr D Veerendra Heggade said he was immensely happy to have got the opportunity to serve the nation.

He added that the Rajya Sabha was a serious platform were one could hold discussion and get get feedback on the improvement in one’s constituency.He thanked PM Modi on giving him an opportunity to serve the nation.He hoped he along with others nominated from different fields would be able to serve in the betterment of the nation ,working along with maintaing it’s cultural sanctity and protecting traditional values.
