Mangalore: DC holds meeting with airlines staff on the prevention of monkey pox disease

Mangalore: The DC Dr Rajendra K.V has instructed the airline staff to given information about passengers with symptoms of fever or pox rashes on the skin to the airport authorities.This is on the wake of the spread of the contagious monkey pox disease.

He was speaking at a meeting with concerned officials on the prevention of spread of monkey pox disease at the conference hall in Mangalore international airport.

The first case of monkey pox was reported from Kerala and as as a lot of passengers frequent the Mangalore airport; the DC has instructed airport officials and airlines staff to be on alert to prevent the spread of the disease.
